·       Introductiuon

Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? (translated as what's it Fatmagül's fault?) may be a Turkish tv drama series created by Ay Yapım and broadcast on Kanal D. The series is predicated on Vedat Türkali's situation Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?, that was created into a movie in 1986, Hülya Avşar as Fatmagül. The series is written by the couple Ece Yörenç and Melek Gençoğlu. The sound recording was composed and conducted by Toygar Işıklı.

·        Cast

• Beren Saat as Fatmagül Ilgaz (née Ketenci) – A village girl who was later raped by Erdoğan, Selim and Vural. Was previously engaged with Mustafa. Later marries Kerim.
• Engin Akyürek as Kerim Ilgaz – Falls in love with Fatmagül, but was later forced to take the blame for her rape. He marries Fatmagül to protect her. Later supports Fatmagül within the fight against her rapists.
• Fırat Çelik as Mustafa Nalçalı – salt and Emin's son. He was previously engaged with Fatmagül, but after the rape he leaves her. Swore vengeance on the rapists and Kerim. Accidentally kills Vural.
• Kaan Taşaner as Erdoğan Yaşaran – Family member of the wealthy businessman, Reşat Yaşaran. Also took part in Fatmagül's rape.
• Engin Öztürk as Selim Yaşaran – Son of Reşat Yaşaran. Also took part in Fatmagül's rape.
• Buğra Gülsoy as Vural Namlı – Kerim's friend. Also took part in Fatmagül's rape. After the rape, he is left with a scattered psyche, and later regrets his actions. He was accidentally killed by Mustafa following a fist fight.
• Musa Uzunlar as Reşat Yaşaran – Selim's father, Erdoğan's uncle, and Rıfat's brother. He is a wealthy businessman who tries to cover the rapists' crimes. Suffers a stroke late in the series due to stress.
• Murat Daltaban as Münir Telci – Selim's maternal uncle and is also the Yasaran's family lawyer.
• Sevtap Özaltun as Asu(de) / Hacer Ovacık / Hacer Nalçalı – Previously worked as a prostitute. Mustafa's wife.
• Seda Guven as Meltem Alagöz / Yaşaran – Selim's ex-wife. After learning of his actions, she becomes an ally to Fatmagül.
• Sumru Yavrucuk as Meryem Aksoy / ("Ebe Nine") – Kerim's adoptive mother who raised him. Affectionally known as "Ebe Nine" ("Granny Ebe")
• Salih Zeki Yorulmaz as Galip, Kerim's blacksmith teacher. Dies in a car accident.
• Deniz Türkali as Perihan Yaşaran / Telci – Selim's mother, Reşat's wife, Münir's sister. Later turns on her husband after learning of his attempts to cover up crimes committed by Selim and Erdoğan Yaşaran.
• Civan Canova as Kadir Pakalın – Fatmagül's lawyer. A lawyer and a father figure to Kerim. Eventually falls in love and marries Meryem Aksoy.
• Esra Dermancıoğlu as Mukaddes Ketenci – Rahmi's wife and Fatmagül's sister-in-law. Used to theme against Fatmagül and also the whole family.
• Bülent Seyran as Rahmi Ketenci – Fatmagül's brother and Mukaddes' husband.
• Veda Yurtsever İpek as Ender Alagöz – Meltem's mother.
• Aziz Sarvan as Turaner Alagöz – Meltem's father. Commits suicide.
• Mehmet Uslu as Rıfat Yaşaran – Erdoğan's father. Dies from a heart attack. Erdoğan blames Reşat Yaşaran for his death.
• Servet Pandur as Leman Namlı – Vural's mother. After her son and her husband die, she commits suicide.
• Zühtü Erkan as Şemsi Namlı – Vural's father. Killed in a car accident.
• Sacide Taşaner as Halide Nalçalı – Mustafa's mother. Died of illness.
• Toygun Ateş as Emin Nalçalı – Mustafa's father. Died of a heart attack.
• Deniz Baytaş as Hilmiye Yaşaran – Erdoğan's mother.
• Alper Saylik as Sami Khaner – A taxi driver and Asu's pimp, though later becomes her friend. He eventually falls in love with her.
• Alper Kut as Ömer Akari – Kerim's lawyer and Kadir's friend.
• Emre Yetim as Emre – Kerim's and Fatmagül's friend. In love with Deniz.
• Gözde Kocaoğlu as Deniz Ilgaz – Kerim's half-Turkish, half-Australian sister born from his biological father.
• Nilay Kaya as Gaye – Meltem's first cousin, Erdoğan and Münir's love interest
• Clare Frost as Kristen Norton – An Englishwoman and Kerim's ex-fiancée; still in love with Kerim. After Kerim marries Fatmagul, she leaves him.
• Ata Yılmaz Önal as Murat Ketenci – Mukaddes' son; Rahmi's accommodative son
• Ali Yigit as Salih Mercanli – Murat's biological father. Was previously in love with Mukaddes
• Bengü Ergin as Dr. Nil Yörgen – Erdoğan's love interest. Later becomes an ally to Fatmagül.

The most popular Turkish show is Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?. Another series as Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki (As Time Goes By), Beni Affet (Forgive Me), Effet, Aşk-ı Memnu (Forbidden Love), and Adını Feriha Koydum are popular too.

In Kosovo, the foremost fashionable TV shows in Dec 2012 were Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? (What is Fatmagül's Fault?), which ranked top of all programmes and Aşk ve Ceza (Love and Punishment), which came in third according to data by Index Kosova. In Serbia, analysis from January 2013 indicates that the highest 2 Turkish shows in TV were Muhteşem Yüzyıl, which ranked fourth, and Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki (As Time Goes By), that came in seventh.Fatmagul was one in all the foremost fashionable shows in Macedonia that irked the govt. to passed a bill to limit broadcasts of Turkish series during the day and at prime time in order to reduce the Turkish impact on Macedonian society.
